You know you want to bowl over the summer so you look for a summer league. You also know you want to go to a different house because the league experience in your present house was not good. People did not show up and when they did they spent the night on the cell phone or just not engaged in the bowling. Losing gets old when you know your team cannot compete. You missed the first two nights because you were on vacation. You had talked to the bowling house league director and she knows you will be there. So, you are nervous who your new teammates are. The league secretary says there are three other guys looking for a team and voila, a new team is born. You meet just before bowling begins and you will be bowling blind because you are a new team. All of a sudden, you and your new teammates start to laugh, talk about bowling, their equipment, type of ball they are throwing and the atmosphere is great. When it is all over, you realize that you had not had that kind of fun for years. This is what you started bowling for in the first place. What a great feeling to be accepted as a bowler and to just have a blast. Oh yeah, your scores were pretty good too!!
